Capt Dominic P. Caravona graduated from Lincoln High School and Ohio State University. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University and established his medical practice on Cleveland's west side.He was commissioned by the Medical Officer's Recruiting Board in Cleveland in September 1942.
Capt Caravona was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Saint James, France.
