S/Sgt Raymond H. Tuttle graduated from Haverhill High School in 1937 and was employed at the library in Exeter, New Hampshire.

He enlisted at Ft Devens, Massachusetts on 18 February 1942 and shipped overseas December, 1943.

His initial burial took place on Limey Cemetery, Toul, France.
