More information

Pvt George S. Miliacca was a painter before he enlisted in Los Angeles, California on 17 November 1943.

Since Pvt Miliacca was killed in action 1 December 1944 and the 143rd captured Ribeauville on 4 December, it is most likely he was killed while the 143rd IR was clearing the road between Ste. Marie Aux-Mines and Ribeauville, France.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his stomach.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Hochfelden, France.
