More information

Pfc Clarence Freitas attended high school for one year and worked on his own farm before he enlisted in Fresno, California on 30 October 1943.

He was killed by a sniper when his squad was attempting to clear a village of the enemy.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
