T/Sgt Philip G. Blair graduated from Utah Agricultural College and was employed as a field man for the California Packing Corporation before he enlisted at Fort Douglas, Utah on 9 February 1942. He went overseas in April 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his back.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
