More information

Pvt Murray Marlow enlisted in New York City, New York on 23 September 1944.

Info provided by Pvt Marlow´s daughter Joan: "He was a replacement and was moved around a lot during the last few months of the war. Also, as he had volunteered for the "gliders", the many accidents that means of transportation had, rendered changing of the units designations which meant further transferring. He carried one of two pieces of the machine gun. He was killed in Germany by an incoming mortar".
