S/Sgt Glenn E. Thompson Jr. attended Jamestown High School and was a department head of a shop.He enlisted in Buffalo, New York on 2 April 1943 and was sent overseas in August 1944.
Sgt Thompson was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
