S/Sgt Terrell H. Tucker attended college for two years and was employed as a life insurance salesman.He volunteered for the Air Corps of the Army of the United States in Dallas, Texas on 10 January 1942.
The airplane was shot down by enemy fighters. Nine crew members were killed and were buried initially on Lingwedel Cemetery, Germany on 31 March 1944. Only Sgt Jerome J. Heimer survived and was taken prisoner.
