Pfc Vincent J. De Grazia attended high school for four years and was a printer, employed by the Republic Bank and Note Company, before he enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 5 July 1944. He was sent overseas on 11 December 1944.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the face.
