Sgt Frank M. Mrozinsky attended high school for one year and worked in the foundry of Halund Company before he enlisted in Greensburg, Pennsylvania on 21 September 1942.

His brother S/Sgt Louis C. Mrozinksy died of his wounds on 4 February 1945 and he is buried in the American Military Cemetery and Memorial in Manila.
