He trained at Camp Joseph A. Robinson, Arkansas, Camp Carson, Colorado, Camp Hunter-Liggett, California and Camp Butner, North Carolina.

According to a newspaperclipping Pfc White was killed in an explosion which occurred while securing a hill.
