Cpl Peter Sushko and his parents moved to Vilna, Poland in 1913. He returned to Hastings in 1928. He attended Hastings Night School and was employed by the Russian Butcher Corp.He enlisted at Fort Jay, New York on 25 September 1942.
Cpl Peter Sushko is remembered at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson, Westchester County, New York.
