Sgt Romia L. Rascoe graduated from Corsicana High School.

He enlisted at Camp Wolters, Texas on 21 June 1944 and was sent overseas in December 1944.

He died of the effects of a gunshot in his chest, suffered on 30 March.

He is remembered at the Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana, Navarro County, Texas.
