S/Sgt Rudolph C. Bocz graduated from Islip High School in 1936 and attended college for two years. He was employed at the Ford Motor Company in Detroit.He enlisted in Jamaica, New York on 28 April 1941.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the chest.
