Pfc Charles C. Oldham attended high school for one year and managed the Alvin Hotel for a number of years and started the Fryers Eat Shop at Admiral and Harvard about two years before he enlisted at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on 2 March 1944.He was killed by small arms fire.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
