Pvt William G. Morgan attended high school for four years and was employed at the Bethlehem Steel Company before he enlisted in Baltimore, Maryland on 22 January 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his chest.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
