S/Sgt Robert J. Lynch was an attendant at a filling station.He enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 29 August 1942.
The airplane collided with a Me 109 en went down on fire and exploded.
Four crew members were taken prisoner, six were killed. They were initially buried at the Catholic cemetery of Ostbevern on 14 and 16 October 1943.
