At 1200 hours, A/C 933, 390th Group, was attacked by fighters in the vicinity of Diepholz Airdrome with #2 engine and right wing on fire. It peeled out of formation to the left and dropped below the formation. When last seen it was under control but losing altitude. Nine chutes were seen.
