1st Lt Henry M. Quirk graduated from Newton High School and attended M.I.T.Circumstances not known as aircraft passed over the target, and no one saw it go down or out of formation; too busy with the enemy attack.
His half-brother Charles also served with the Air Corps. His airplane was shot down on 26 July 1943 and he was taken prisoner.
