S/Sgt Norris F. Neumeyer graduated from Strongsville High School in June 1938 and was a mechanic employed by Republic Steel at the Corrigan McKinney Plant in Cleveland.He enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio on 26 June 1943.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments.
S/Sgt Neumeyer is remembered at Saint Mary of the Falls Cemetery in Berea, Cuyahoga County, Ohio with a memorial marker.
