Pvt Samuel P. Warren was married to Beulah Herring on 12 July 1941.

He worked in a company that processed dairy products before he enlisted in Los Angeles, California on 15 April 1942.

He was reported seriously wounded in action on 16 September when 3rd Battalion was holding Mousson Hill in the vicinity of Atton, France.
