Pvt Carl L. Christianson attended high school for four years and was a mechanic, employed by the Earnshaw Knitting Mills when he enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 7 April 1943. He was sent overseas in July 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the thorax.
