Pfc Lester I. Winebrenner worked on a farm before he enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 7 April 1942. He was sent overseas in February 1944.He was reported missing in action in Belgium on 4 January 1945 and died in Stalag IX-B from malnutrition.
He is also remembered at the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
