Pvt Alan W. Watt graduated from Berkeley High School in 1928 and from the University of California at Davis two-year Agriculture program in May 1930. He was a clerk at the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.He enlisted in Presidio of Monterey, California on 29 March 1944 and was sent overseas in September 1944.
He died of wounds in a field hospital from the effects of artillery shell fragments, received the same day.
