S/Sgt Henry W. Krueger attended high school for two years and was employed at the Mr. Nimmer Automotive Wholesale House before he enlisted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 30 March 1942.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
