S/Sgt Kenneth F. Renn attended high school for four years and was a bookkeeper and cashier before he enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 13 November 1942.

He was killed by a gunshot in his chest.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
