Pfc Derrell O. Fuller was employed at the United States Aluminium Company before he enlisted in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 16 November 1942.

He died in an aid station to the effects of artillery shell fragments.

He is remembered at the Chatsworth Heights Cemetery in Chatsworth, Murray County, Georgia.
