Pfc James S. Findley attended 1 year of college and was a foreman before he enlisted at Fort Thomas Newport, Kentucky on 29 April 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
He is remembered at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Clarksburg, Harrison County, West Virginia.
