Cpl Donald L. Edler is a graduate of Prospect high school (May 1942) and was employed at Snider Dairy and Produce company before he entered the service.In June 1943 he was stationed at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. On 20 June 1943 he spend a two week leave with his mother and grandmother in Medford, Oregon. In October 1943 he completed his basis training with the armed forces at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. In April 1944 he was stationed at Camp Chaffee, Arkansas.
