2nd Lt Charles A. Moore attended high school for four years and worked on a sawmill before he joined the Regular Army at Fort MacArthur San Pedro, California on 30 September 1941.Moore Hall and Moore Street in Los Angeles were memorialized on 5 January 1962, in honor of Lt Charles A. Moore.
2nd Lt Charles A. Moore was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Fosse, Belgium.
