Cpl Donald D. Sieckman graduated from Wayne High School in 1941. He attended Wayne College in 1941-42 and then went to Washington, where he was employed in a navy supply depot for a year.He enlisted on 28 November 1943 at Fort Knox, Kentucky and was sent overseas on 29 August 1944.
