Sgt Thomas Mastromonaco was a welder.He enlisted in Newark, New Jersey, on 12 December 1942.
Together with three other crew members, Sgt Mastromonaco was killed when an enemy anti-tank rocket hit the turret of their tank. One of the other dead crew members, Chester A. Regen, is also buried at Margraten. One other crew member was wounded.
