Milton C. Jones attended Fremont Ross High School and was a meat cutter.

He enlisted in Toledo, Ohio on 29 July 1942. He was first trined for military police duty and was assigned to Gardner field, Texas on 4 October 1942. He volunteered for paratrooper training but due to an ear defect was placed in the military police. He was sent overseas on 23 February 1944.

The picture was taken in high school in 1942.
