2nd Lt Zeb Kendall Jr. attended college and was a mechanic

He joined the Air Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve in Los Angeles, California on 12 June 1942.

Their aircraft was shot down by German fighters near Haselünne. The entire crew was killed. They were initially buried at the cemetery of Quakenbruck, Germany.
