S/Sgt Gerald J. Scheier graduated from Ruhl-Hartman High School in 1937 and was employed at the Ford Motor Company.He enlisted in November 1942 and was sent overseas in September 1944.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
