S/Sgt Manuel W. Parros' parents emigrated from Greece in 1912. Their name was Paros but was changed in 1930 to Parros.He graduated from Quincy High School in 1941.
He enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 26 October 1942.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Grand Failly, France.
