Pfc Ralph J. Dominic enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 17 February 1943.Cpl Findley was a passenger on board of the C-47, serialnumber 42-100672. The plane, with 18 paratroopers, sustained a hit from flak and six paratroopers were killed. The plane crash-landed six miles southeast of Eindhoven Air Field, but did not blow up.
