Sgt Dominic G. Leogrande graduated from Mount Rainer High school in Maryland. He was employed at the Columbia Planograph Company.

He enlisted on 4 November 1942 in Washington, D. C. and was sent overseas 1 April 1944.

This aircraft was observed to go into shallow dive into clouds over target, apparently under control. Aircraft sent a request for a QDM which was received at this base MF/DF station at 1345 hours. A bearing of 250 degrees was given but not received by this aircraft. No other information available.

Per the MACR records, Sgt Leogrande received a direct hit by flak killing him instantly over Berlin.
