2nd Lt Harry J. Linvill attended Columbia High School and was a music teacher.He enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 5 June 1941.
The airplane was shot down by Obfw Robert Roller in a BF 109G-5 from JG 3/6.
The entire crew of ten men was killed. Two of them are remembered on the Walls of the Missing at Margraten, the other eight are remembered at the Tablets of the Missing at Cambridge Cemetery.
2nd Lt Linvill is memorialized at South Park Cemetery in Columbia City, Indiana.
