Sgt Angelo M. Di Camillo enlisted in Newark, New Jersey, on 12 October 1942.The aircraft was hit by flak right after the turn at the IP. The airplane left the group and was not seen again.
Eight crew members were killed. They were initially buried at the cemetery of Böhmerwold. One crew member was taken prisoner.
The remains of Sgt Di Camillo were disinterred from the cemetery of Böhmerwold on 22 May 1946 and reburied in a temporary grave at Ardennes Cemetery on 28 May 1946. After being disinterred from this temporary grave on 23 November 1948, he was given his final resting place on 24 January 1951.
