James F. Fallon graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys in 1935. He was employed by the United Shoe Machinery Company.He enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 3 October 1942.
The airplane was hit by enemy flak and exploded in the air.
Three crew members were taken prisoner, seven men were killed.
Sgt Fallon was initially buried at the cemetery for foreign soldiers in Dülmen on 23 February 1944.
