Pfc Leonard Querques was employed as a route salesman by Sheffield Farms in Orange.He enlisted in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey on 3 August 1943. He was sent overseas in September 1944.
He was reported wounded in action on 14 April 1945 and died three days later. The exact location where he died is not known.
