Pvt Le Roy W. Vigesaa attended high school for one year and worked on the family farm when he enlisted at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on 17 May 1944.He trained at Camp Robinson, Arkansas and Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri before going overseas in December 1944.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the leg.
