Pfc Woodrow T. Wilson attended high school for three years and worked as production worker before he enlisted in Cincinnati, Ohio on 4 January 1943.

He was taken prisoner on 2 October 1944 in the vicinity of Landremont, France.

He died of wounds in a POW camp in Auersmacher, Germany.
