Pvt William Kinnick was a chauffeur employed by the Johnson Baking Co. in Youngstown, Ohio before he enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 16 March 1944.On 12 November he was reported seriously wounded by a bullet in the shoulder, when B Company moved out on attacking the town of Lucy, France.
