Sgt Lester W. Graham he was employed at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.He enlisted in Akron, Ohio on 7 June 1943 and was sent overseas in June 1944.
He was wounded in action in France on 11 November 1944 for which he was awerded the Purple Heart Medal a first time.
