Pvt Adam F. Konieczny was a bookkeeper and cashier before he enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 30 November 1943.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his chest.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
