Pfc Serafin Padilla enlisted in Santa Fe, New Mexico on 23 November 1943.Before entering the service he was an employe of the Schwartzman Packing Co. He trained at Fort Bliss and Camp Finnin, Texas and served in France, Belgium and Germany. Pfc Padilla spent seven months overseas and was wounded twice.
