Pvt Joseph S. Bost was employed at the Carnegie Illinois Steel Company before he enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 21 March 1944. He was sent overseas on 10 September 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
