S/Sgt Louis D. Adams attended high school for three years and was a carpenter before he enlisted at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland on 18 March 1942. He was sent overseas in February 1944.He was killed when his tank met enemy anti-tank fire while attempting to cross the Rhine river.
He is remembered at the Forkston Cemetery in Forkston, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.
